PROGRAM:
Develop a bluff top residence of the International Style with Asian influenced timber framing. Due to the site, maximum glass was desired for the expansive coastal views. Privacy from the street side and a traditional courtyard would need to be incorporated.

COMPLETED PROJECT
The residence has been heralded as a fine example of what the pure synergy of a design & build practice can accomplish. From the extensive habitat documentation and planning constraints, (such as a defined archeological resource) the structural magic of remote lateral shear panels, cantilevered structural concrete and traditional mortise and tenon timber framing the residence has garnered many accolades from those that have experienced it. It has been published both in design journals and technical publications. Groundbreaking to completion-12months.
